SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressor engineering. Centrifugal multistage compressor unit contains parallel installed multi-stage compressors, each consists of two sections coupled to each other with several impellers, a multiplier with a drive gear mounted on the drive shaft, and driven gears mounted on the driven shafts of the multiplier (on opposite sides of the multiplier housing) connected to the shafts of the compressor sections, besides shafts of the compressor sections are displaced relative to each other and connected to each other by gears mounted on these shafts, one of which is connected to the drive gear.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the gas-dynamic characteristics of an aggregate containing multi-stage compressors with compression bodies of its sections with a vertical barrel-type connector.
