In the hybrid power transmission control method, the moving parts of the first and second planetary gears are disconnected from each other and the internal combustion engine is controlled to a predetermined engine rotation speed. Also, the first and second electric machines are controlled to achieve the required torque on the output shaft, while simultaneously achieving the requested total power consumption of the first and second electric machines.
