SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid and solvent sprayers and may be used in machine building, chemical and food industries. Vortex atomizer comprises casing with screw arranged coaxially at casing top section, and fitting with fluid feed cylindrical bore communicated with diffuser axially symmetric with the said casing and the said fitting. Screw is pressed into the case to make cylindrical chamber above said screw and aligned with the diffuser and communicated therewith, wherein screw is made solid, and screw outer surface is a two in-series connected surfaces, one of which is at least a single-threaded groove with a right or left thread and is located inside the casing, and the second smooth surface represents a body of revolution axisymmetrically connected with spraying disc located perpendicular to casing axis to extend beyond casing bottom end, while the line forming this surface can be either a straight line or a curve line of the n-th order, characterized in that the surface of the spraying disc protruding beyond the end surface of the lower part of the casing is bent towards the lower part of the casing and has radial notches in the peripheral part, alternating with the solid part of the surface of the spraying disc, and the spraying disk is displaced along the atomizer axis downward from the smooth surface of the rotating body of the screw connected with helical surface of the screw by value h depending on viscosity of the sprayed liquid, and is connected with the screw by a rod located axisymmetrically to the screw, and diffuser is connected to the end lower part of the atomizer casing, enclosing the spraying disk, with at least three ejection openings in the upper part of the diffuser.

EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of liquid spraying.
