FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining, particularly, to higher-precision lathes. Proposed device comprises revealed error correction system 1 provided with hardware-software means, and spindle 2. Lathe foundation accommodates support 6 whereon spindle travel laser sensor 7 is arranged in horizontal plane of shaping by focusing laser beam directly on its surface. To measure travel of cutting tool 8 caused by power and heat effects, reflector 9 made up of rectangular prism is fitted on said spindle. Support 10 accommodates bracket 11 supporting laser tool cutting edge sensor 12. Beam of sensor 12 is focused on diagonal surface of truncated cone of reflector 9.
EFFECT: higher precision of machining.
