SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network communication technologies. User’s equipment contains: memory; and logic, at least part of which is implemented in the circuit connected to the memory, wherein the logic is for: identifying a multicast content stream packet containing multicast content streams based on the matching section contained in the received multicast transmission, wherein each of the multicast content streams corresponds to one of a plurality of versions of content transmitted via the Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS), and selecting one of the multicast streams for processing based on the characteristics identified in the description section contained in the received multicast transmission.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing of data transmission rate.
