SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for providing content that is delivered via file delivery over unidirectional transport (FLUTE). Disclosed is a content provision device, comprising: a fragment-stream generation unit that generates a fragment stream on the basis of content source data; a FLUTE-stream generation unit that generates a FLUTE stream from the generated fragment stream; a session description protocol (SDP) creation unit that creates an SDP that comprising the reception mode for when the reception side receives a FLUTE session containing a FLUTE stream; and a multicast delivery unit that delivers the FLUTE stream via FLUTE multicast and then delivers, before delivering the FLUTE stream via FLUTE multicast, the SDP via FLUTE multicast.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide notification to a reception party that receives a FLUTE session in receive mode.
