SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication. The method of establishing a connection between user equipment (UE) and an associated network includes receiving at the UE a service announcement providing a description of an available broadcast service and an identifier which identifies the broadcast service. The method further involves receiving at the UE a setup message which establishes a point-to-point radio channel between the UE and the network, such that the setup message includes the identifier which is used to identify that the radio channel transmits the broadcast service.
EFFECT: enabling identification of a broadcast service transmitted over a radio channel.
