FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sugar industry. Method for producing a seed suspension for crystallizing glucose involves mechanical grinding of crystalline glucose with crystals in the range of 1–300 mcm, preferably 250–300 mcm, using a filter mill to classify the particles by size. Seed crystals of 1–10 microns and 10–30 microns are obtained. Mixed with absolute alcohol in a ratio of 3:2. Alcohol is picked from ethanol, propanol, butanol, isopropanol, isobutanol. It is then sealed and stored for later use as a seed. Seed crystals of size 1–10 microns are used for anhydride glucose crystallization by isothermal method, and seed crystals of 10–30 microns in size are used for anhydride glucose crystallization by a polythermic method.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a storage stable seed suspension for anhydride glucose production by isothermal and polythermal methods.
