SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to plant growing. Coherent propagation growth substrate product for cultivation is formed of man-made vitreous fibres (MMVF). Product has two opposed top and bottom surfaces and at least one cavity, which is open at the top surface and which extends from the top surface towards the bottom surface. Superabsorbent polymer is provided in the cavity. In the plant cultivation method, the development of the seed is provided by providing the product of any of 1-9, placing the seed in the cavity, watering the substrate growth product and providing the possibility of germination and seed growth with the formation of the seedling. Transplant the seedling by placing the substrate growth product on the ground; water the substrate growth product and provide the possibility of growing the seedling and the possibility of rooting the seedling in the ground. In a method for cultivating plants, the product of any one of 1-9, seedling is placed in the cavity, the substrate growth product is watered and the seedling is allowed to grow.
