FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method for propagation of common juniper, consisting in the selection of the most mature cypress cones from healthy plants growing in a natural environment, seed separation by grinding cypress cones with sand, seed treatment with a weak solution of acetic acid, grinding with wood ash, stratification for 4-5 months in boxes under a layer of snow in a substrate of a mixture of soil, peat and sand in a ratio of 1:1:1 with the addition of soil with symbiont mushrooms to the finished mixture, selected under growing juniper plants, sowing in pre-prepared boxes or beds, in the case of direct sowing in the open ground, stratified seeds treated with solutions of growth stimulants.
EFFECT: invention contributes to an increase in germination by 12-23% and a reduction in the germination time of common juniper seeds from 2-4 years to one year.
