SUIT FOR NEUROMUSCULAR AND SPINAL ELECTRICAL STIMULATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61N1/36 A61F5/00

Abstract RU 2654285 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and medical equipment. Neuroorthopedic suit for neuromuscular and/or spinal transcutaneous electrical stimulation includes a trouser module, a vest module and a sleeve module for fixing electrodes of functional electrical stimulation. Trouser-shaped and sleeve modules are made with the possibility of fixing a goniometer on them. Suit also includes removable covers for conductors that can be connected from one end to the connectors of electrodes of the photovoltaic cells, and from the other end - to the output connectors of the device for carrying out FES and/or HRM. Modules are made from a group of detachable fastened elastic cuffs and elastic tissue support connecting these cuffs. Joints of the trouser-shaped module run along the middle of the lateral surface of the legs to the connectors of the femoral-cuffed cuff, and the hose joints along the middle of the outer surface of the arm. Joints are carried out by clasps at the ends of the cuffs. Joints under the goniometer blades are available on the adjacent cuffs of the thighs and tibia of the trouser-shaped module and on the adjacent arm and elbow cuffs of the sleeve module. On cuffs there are buckles under the covers for the conductors. In the upper part of the sleeve module and on the shoulder cuffs there are detachable fasteners for connection of the sleeve module to the vest. To the lower waist cuff of the waist module, the tension compensators are fixed at the front with loop-like ends. Each cover under the conductors is made in the form of a through tube, equipped with a length of fasteners for fastening to the cuffs and having near the fasteners holes for the exit of a part of the conductors and pockets for the supply of conductors. For neuromuscular and spinal transcutaneous electrical stimulation, electrodes are placed on the appropriate areas of the patient. Put on the patient at least one suit module. Fasten the goniometer, connect the conductors to the electrodes on one side and to the device - on the other. Parameters are adjusted taking into account the received signals from the device.

EFFECT: invention will increase convenience and effectiveness of stimulation, which is achieved due to the above features of the suit and the way it is used.
