SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an item holder used in a vehicle interior. Item holder for a vehicle interior comprises first and second retention members having deformable edge portions, a biasing mechanism and an opening defined between the edge portions of the first and second retention members. First and second retention members are arranged in a generally parallel relationship, the edge portions being operable between at-rest and recessed positions. Biasing mechanism provides biasing of the edge portions to the at-rest position. Opening adapted to receive an item for holding by abutment with each of the edge portions.
EFFECT: enabling fixing of passenger's personal belongings while maneuvering the vehicle so that the passenger can easily reach them.
