FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: composite material based on LiMnPO4, synthesized chemically, contains (1-x) LiMn2O4, where x is the amount of LiMnPO4 and varies from 0.67 mol% to 0.99 mol%. Implementation of a method for synthesizing a composite material based on LiMnPO4 includes the following stages: provision of LiMn2O4 material as a precursor; leaching of Mn from LiMn2O4 material, using an acid to produce a synthesized solution; addition of carbonate material to the synthesized solution; addition of phosphoric acid to the synthesized solution with a carbonate material to obtain MnPO4 composite material; and addition of a lithium-containing compound to MnPO4 composite material to obtain a synthesized material.
EFFECT: invention relates to a technology for manufacturing materials for lithium-ion batteries.
