SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Invention is a method for increasing the reproductive capacity of pregnant sows of a large white breed and the viability of a newborn offspring, including intramuscular injection before the delivery of a highly active nonspecific immunomodulatory drug of a broad spectrum of action, where "Pyrogenal" is used as an immunomodulating preparation at a dose of 0.1 mcg/kg of body weight of pregnant animals, namely in the first half of pregnancy, the execution in the amount of 10 injections at intervals of 1 day, and in the second half of pregnancy 5 injections with an interval of 2 days, the general course of 15 injections.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent the immunodeficiency state in the fetal period by performing an immunomodulating effect in the maternal organism during the most stressful period (second half) of pregnancy.
