SUBSTANCE: invention is an increase in the reproductive capacity of cows, including an estimate of the metabolic content of lead and cadmium in the body according to the level of their concentration in the wool, at a concentration level of lead above 0.038 mcg/g and cadmium above 0.417 mcg/g, excessive amounts of lead and cadmium are eliminated from the body by introducing the "Bifezh"sorbent for heavy metal and radionuclides at a dose of 45 g per head per day for 60 days before insemination. Method makes it possible to increase the fertility of cows – by 20 %, to reduce the calving interval – by 10.9 %, and the service period – by 21.5 %; increase the calf crop – by 25 % compared with the control.

EFFECT: method for increasing the reproductive capacity of cows is proposed.
