FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used to optimize cows reproductive functions in conditions of the Magadan Region. Method for optimizing the reproductive functions of cows consists in introducing into the main ration of dry and dairy cows after calving of crab flour and lichens of Cladonia alpestris and Cetraria islandica as a feed additive, with feed additive being used within two months before calving and two after daily in quantities: crab meal – 150 g, lichens – 30 g per head.
EFFECT: use of this invention allows to improve the immunity of animals and provides timely fruitful insemination.
