FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and can be used in post-harvest grain processing. Supply of material to the aerodynamic system is established from the diversity of the average values of the path lengths of ultrasonic waves, permeating across a moving grain layer. Values of the path length of the ultrasonic waves when controlling the flow of material are obtained from the ultrasonic range finders 2 at the inlet and at the outlet of the pneumatic separation channel 5 of the grain cleaning machine. Air supply is determined from the difference in the average values of the path lengths of ultrasonic waves, permeating across a moving grain layer. Values of the path length of ultrasonic waves when controlling the supply of air to the aerodynamic system are obtained from ultrasonic range finders 2 in the middle part and at the exit from the pneumatic separation channel 5.
EFFECT: invention provides automation of the process of grain cleaning, which increases the quality of grain cleaning and reduces specific energy costs.
