FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to plant growing and livestock. Method includes vegetative propagation conducted in September – October, using rhizomes located at a depth of 5–7 cm, which are previously extracted from the soil, a length of 20 cm to 1 m with two to four or more kidneys, and are planted to a depth of 8–12 cm in the prepared soil, laying the kidneys up. Above-ground part of the plant with floral shoots is preliminarily cut, laid in linen bags and suspended in a dry ventilated room for seed ripening and subsequent use as a seed material.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the efficiency of seed propagation of the willow herb in the agro-climatic conditions of the Chuvash Republic.
