FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method has been proposed that includes preparing a land plot for harvesting fireweed rhizomes and digging out segments of rhizomes. On the harvested area, the stalks of fireweed are preliminarily mowed, followed by their removal from the site. Next, the soil layer is cut with a disc harrow by passing equipment along and across the site. The depth of tillage is 15 cm. As a result of this operation, the rhizomes of the narrow-leaved fireweed are cut in the soil into segments of 10-15 cm. Then, using a potato digger, the finished segments of the rhizomes are dug out of the soil.
EFFECT: invention allows to create productive plantations of fireweed and enables the possibility of its cultivation.
