SUBSTANCE: invention provides lighting device (104) and luminaire (200). Lighting device comprises light emitter (110) thermally connected to heat sink (120). Lighting device further comprises communication circuit (130) coupled to the heat sink for transmitting and/or receiving a communication signal. First conductive part (122) of the heat sink comprises at least first pole (142) of dipole antenna (140) for transmitting and/or receiving the communication signal via the heat sink. Said first pole of the dipole antenna may be induced via primary radiator (160) to activate gap (170).
EFFECT: disclosed is a lighting device.
