SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation for controlling train movement. Method uses rail circuits that fix the occupation of the rail line and monitors the integrity of the rail tracks, power of the open-line rail circuits is provided by a generator with a frequency of 781 Hz to monitor the integrity of the rail tracks and by a generator with a frequency of 6,250 Hz to fix the occupation of a short rail line with a shunt sensitivity zone of 5 m in length and count the cars of the passing train. And the information about the train and the integrity of the rail tracks are transmitted via a two-wire line to the electrical centralization post of the receiving station, where, by means of a computer, along with information from linear installations, signals are generated about the number of free open-line sections before the train and the number of the track for receiving or tracing trains at the station, this information is transmitted by means of digital radio communication to trains located on the open line and at the station, and with the help of a two-wire line – signals for switching on and off the rail condition monitoring devices and controlling the number of cars in the trains; locomotive computers generate signals about the number, coordinates of the train and number of cars in the train and transmit them by digital radio to the receiving station.
