FIELD: train traffic control methods.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on control of conditions of distanced track sections by mobile devices located on locomotive and between two last cars of train. Information on state of track sections behind tail of train, as well as coordinates of head and tail of train on radio communication are transmitted to receiving station. From the station for receiving to locomotives information is received on the coordinate of the tail car of the train ahead and the established routes at the receiving station. In addition, integrity of the track is controlled by means of mobile devices on a short section of track circuit with length of 5–10 m under conditions of vibration when the train moves.
EFFECT: possibility of avoiding use of track devices and cable lines on the haul.
