FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering, in particular to nuclear power plants, and can be used to generate energy. Single-loop nuclear power plant with a coolant under pressure contains an energy installation and a choke device with a working wheel, connected to each other by a diverting and supplying pipelines, steam turbine connected by pipelines to a throttling device and a condenser, also connected to a throttle steam generator. At that, the throttling device is made in the form of a throttle steam generator vertically divided into a steam volume zone, high-pressure zone and a low pressure zone, separated by horizontal sealed partitions. Steam volume zone is located above the high pressure zone, which is located above the low pressure zone, high pressure zone is connected to the inlet of the supply pipeline and connected to the low pressure zone by throttling nozzles made in the partition between these zones on its periphery at an inclination to the vertical line.
EFFECT: increasing the nuclear fuel use efficiency in a single-loop NPP with a coolant under pressure and increasing the reliability and safety during its operation in all modes.
