FIELD: monitoring systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling corrosion rate of equipment of technological circuits of nuclear power plants. Method comprises measuring values of electrochemical potential of structural material of heat exchange tubes (HET) and specific electric conductivity of purging water of steam generators, values of polarization resistance of structural material of pipelines of condensate-nutrient channel and specific electric conductivity of feed water of steam generators are measured. Further, values of electrochemical potential and specific electric conductivity of purging water of steam generators are displayed on a two-parameter nomogram in compliance with operating conditions. Values of polarization resistance and specific electrical conductivity of feed water of steam generators are also displayed on a two-parameter nomogram. Depending on location of the point in one of the zones of two-parameter nomograms, no heat carrier parameters are taken or adjusted, or the power unit is stopped.

EFFECT: improving operating reliability of equipment of technological circuits of nuclear stations, steam generators and pipelines due to higher efficiency of monitoring corrosion rate of structural materials of condensate-nutrient channel and heat exchange tubes of steam generators.
