FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering. Disclosed is a system for safe use of hydrogen with increasing power of double-circuit NPP above nominal, containing hydrogen-oxygen combustion chamber, connected to supply lines of hydrogen and oxygen and feed water with high-pressure heaters. System contains additional steam-water heater of feed water, which is connected to feed water with high-pressure heaters and steam generator, and steam generator is connected by pipelines to reactor, and by steam with superheater, which is connected to steam turbine and pipeline for supply of steam obtained from combustion of hydrogen in oxygen, and wherein additional steam-water feed water heater and superheater are of surface type, and the superheater comprises a cooling zone and a condensation zone of water vapour obtained from combustion of hydrogen with oxygen, as well as a catalytic afterburning zone of unreacted hydrogen with surface oxygen.

EFFECT: invention allows improving safety of hydrogen use during its combustion with oxygen.
