FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to diagnosis of disaccharidase insufficiency. For this, method involves the examination of membrane enzymes responsible for digesting lactose, maltose, starch and sugar in the intestinal tissue. Additionally, electromyography of smooth muscles of the large intestine is performed. At the same time, a diagnosis of disaccharidase deficiency is established at a frequency of slow waves of the ascending colon 11.48–12.82 per min, amplitude 0.09–0.16 mV, at a frequency of slow waves of the descending part of the colon 8.2–9.0 per min, amplitude 0.10–0.14 mV and with a glucoamylase content of 142.8–178.2 ng glucose/mg tissue per minute, maltases – 575.4–707.4 ng glucose/mg tissue per minute, sucrose 58.5–70.7 ng glucose/mg tissue per minute and lactase – 11.5–14.3 ng glucose/mg tissue in min.
EFFECT: method improves the accuracy of the diagnosis of disaccharidase deficiency in adult patients.
