FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: methods for obtaining soluble chlorine free potassium fertilizers are a cyclic process involving the execution in each cycle of a sequence of operations that are ion exchange reactions performed in one or more ion exchange columns using the same cation exchanger for all operations, prior to the beginning of each operation in the ionic form for this operation, each operation involves treating the cation exchanger with a solution that is the starting material of the said cyclic process for a given operation, obtain of the product of this operation and transfer of the cation exchanger into the ionic form for the next operation of the said sequence. One of the operations of this sequence involves treating the cation exchanger, being in Na form prior to the start of this operation, with solution of potassium chloride as the first starting material of said cyclic process, transferring the cation exchanger to the K form and preparing a sodium chloride solution.
EFFECT: high-purity chlorine free potassium mineral fertilizers using a wide range of raw materials, including acids.
