FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of wells by geophysical methods and can be used for determining geomechanics parameters of rocks to select optimal sections during hydraulic fracturing (HF). Method comprises determining geomechanics parameters. Geophysical investigation – GI is carried out along the wellbore by gamma-ray logging methods – GK, induction logging – IK, neutron gamma-ray logging – NGK, caliper measurement – DS, density gamma-gamma-ray logging – RHOB, reservoir intervals are determined and GK, IK, NGK, DS, RHOB values in each interval of the reservoir are selected, then the RHOB value is corrected, and using the values obtained according to the results of GK, IK, and NGK, the values of the interval transit time of the longitudinal DTp and transverse DTs waves are calculated and averaged, ratio of the transit time of the longitudinal and transverse waves is further determined using the obtained values of DTp and DTs, as well as the corrected RHOB value, the geomechanics parameters are calculated: Young's modulus, shear modulus and Poisson's ratio in reservoir intervals, according to the lowest value of these parameters, the target interval of the reservoir for hydraulic fracturing is determined.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of hydraulic fracturing, improved quality of determining the geomechanics parameters.
