FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and can be used in manufacturing effective luminophors for elements of nano-optoelectronics and light sources in the visible range. Aluminum is anodized in a solution of 0.9 - 10 mol/l hydrofluoric acid in ethylene glycol at a constant voltage in the range of 75 - 400 V at a constant temperature of 1°C. Aluminum plate of technical purity is used as an anode, stainless steel - as a cathode. Resulting spongy nanoporous aluminum oxide luminesces in daylight, its glow is perceived with the naked eye.
EFFECT: method is simple and does not require the use of high-purity material.
