FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for reducing associated petroleum gas emissions from oil producing wells. Using the method, associated petroleum gas from the oil producing wells of a group of wells is collected into a horizontal tank with a volume of 20–200 m3 until the pressure rises to the maximum permissible value exceeding the pressure in the oil collection system. Transportation of gas to the oil collection system is carried out by supplying the reservoir with a system for maintaining reservoir pressure at a pressure exceeding the pressure in the oil collection system. Further release of the tank from water is carried out by means of a mobile pump unit by taking water from the tank and injecting it into the nearest injection group of wells. At the same time, the tank is connected to the oil collection system through an overflow line – the overhead line of the oil producing borehole, where the lowest pressure of the overhead line is among the other groups of wells.

EFFECT: prevention of associated petroleum gas from entering the atmosphere.
