FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the material processing by cutting and can be used to process through holes with a rectangular cross-section. Method is carried out on the CNC turning and milling processing centers with controlled X, Z, C and Y coordinates. Final processing of the interior surfaces of the socket contour is performed by finishing, and the corners are processed by preliminary and final grooving. As a cutting tool for preliminary and final grooving, a slotting tool with a rectangular section of the cutting part is used with dimensions smaller than the size of the socket to be processed. When the preliminary and final grooving the main movement is carried out by moving along the coordinate X, and the adjusting movements and the outlets of the vertices of the slotting tool in the reverse motion are performed by moving the working parts of the machine along the Y and Z coordinates.
EFFECT: increased flexibility and efficiency of processing massive roller bearing separators, including small series and single samples.
