SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wave gears. Wave gear contains three cogwheels, two rigid ones and one flexible, and a wave generator. External gear ring of the dual wave gear is equipped with first and second outer teeth (7, 8) having a different number of teeth. First and second outer teeth (7, 8) are curved by the wave generator by the same amount of bending to obtain an ellipsoidal shape. Middle angle (α1) of engaging the portions of the main lateral surface of tooth profile (70) of first outer teeth (7) having a smaller number of teeth is less acute than average angle (α2), of the portions of the main lateral surface of profile (80) of the tooth of second outer teeth (8) having a larger number of teeth. First and second outer teeth, having a different number of teeth, can be bent to suitably bend to form an excellent engagement with the corresponding internal gear teeth.

EFFECT: increase in the service life is achieved.
