SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The wave transmission with gear ratio switching comprises the first and second gears with internal engagement, the gear wheel with external engagement containing the first and second external teeth made on its outer peripheral surface, the wave generator providing partial engagement of the first and second external teeth with the first and second gears with internal engagement, and the coupling mechanism made with the possibility of selective switching of the first and second gears with internal engagement to a fixed position. The input rotation from the wave generator can be reduced in speed with different gear ratios and obtained from the externally engaged gear wheel by selectively switching the first and second internally engaged gears to a fixed position.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the wave transmission.
