SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gearing. Coplanar harmonic gear drive comprises the internal engaging first rigid wheel, the internal engagement second rigid wheel and the external engagement flexible cylindrical wheel. Between the external engagement flexible wheel external teeth first portion and external teeth second portion, a lowering portion is made. Lowering portion length L1 in the tooth line direction is within the range of 0.1 to 0.5 times of the external teeth tooth width L. Lowering maximum value t from the external tooth top in the lowering portion satisfies expression 3.3×10-4<t/PCD<6.3×10-4, where PCD is diameter of the external teeth pitch circle.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the harmonic gear drive loading capacity.
