FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space technology and can be used for probing the upper atmosphere. Essence: spacecraft orbit is measured and predicted. Time moment of the beginning of upper atmosphere probing is determined. Capsule with scientific equipment is released from a spacecraft on a cable. During releasing process, the capsule is stabilized in the direction of its velocity vector by forming a control recovery torque. To deploy the cable to the capsule, force is applied to the direction of the Earth, until the spacecraft probing process is stopped and the launching operations are started. Moreover, this force exceeds the perturbations acting on the capsule in the direction opposite to the direction of cable deployment.
EFFECT: technical result: ensuring reliable cable deployment.
