FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process for production of olefin hydrocarbons by dehydration of paraffin hydrocarbons in a fluidized bed of pulverized chromia-alumina catalyst circulating in reactor-regenerator system comprising vaporizing of paraffin-containing raw material consisting of a mixture of fresh and recycled paraffinic hydrocarbon streams, heating of resulting vapors due to the heat of contact gas and their overheating in furnace, followed by direction of dehydrogenation. Method also includes cooling of dehydrogenation contact gas in waste heat boiler to produce secondary water vapor by evaporating aqueous condensate, as well as in bubbling washer, compression of cooled contact gas, condensation and recovery of resulting olefinic hydrocarbons and unreacted paraffinic hydrocarbons. Method is characterized in that the raw material vapor is heated to temperature of 150–180 °C in heat exchanger installed after recovery boiler (15), wherein dehydrogenation is carried out at bulk feed rate of 120–200 h-1, temperature 530–600 °C and the linear velocity of contact gas at the outlet of fluidized bed is 0.5 m/s and higher.

EFFECT: increase in productivity of the units for dehydrogenation of paraffinic hydrocarbons C3-C5, increase in yields of olefinic hydrocarbons and decrease in consumption of catalyst.
