FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geomorphology and engineering geology and can be used to decode exogenous geological processes and engineering-geological conditions. Gist: airborne laser scanning and aerial photography are carried out. Points of laser reflections are classified, orthotransformation of aerial photographs is carried out. Maps of reflections intensity and a digital relief model, combined with orthophotos, are constructed. Prepared digital elevation models and orthophotos are downloaded into a geographic information system. Outlines of exogenous geological processes, processed in the relief, and lineaments for constructing contour maps of exogenous geological processes are carried out. Thematic maps are created. Obtained maps in the geographic information system are combined with a digital relief model for decoding exogenous geological processes with the definition of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of lineaments and geological structures. Probability of appearance of slope processes is calculated. Vector layers and databases in the geoinformation system are created. Final maps of engineering-geological conditions, maps of exogenous geological processes, contour maps of exogenous geological processes and lineaments are created.
