SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics. Acoustic system contains a virtual loudspeaker, located on the lower side of the quadrangle, which has four loudspeakers around its corners surrounding the target position of the sound image on the spherical plane. Processing unit is configured to perform a three-dimensional VBAP with respect to the virtual speaker and two loudspeakers located in the upper right corner and in the upper left corner to calculate the gain of the two loudspeakers in the upper right corner and in the upper left corner and a virtual loudspeaker. In this case, the gain factors are used to fix the sound image on the target position of the sound image. System is configured to calculate a two-dimensional VBAP with respect to loudspeakers, located in the lower right and lower left corners, to calculate the amplification factors of the loudspeakers in the lower right and lower left corners, for use when fixing the sound image to the position of the virtual loudspeaker. Values, obtained by multiplying these values of the gain factors by the gain of the virtual loudspeaker, are used as amplification factors of the loudspeakers.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a more stable localization of the sound image.
