HYDRAULIC PUNCH Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E21B43/114

Abstract RU 2656062 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry and is intended to create perforations in an open reservoir. Puncher consists of a split housing, a control mechanism in the form of a hollow rod with an annular piston, a seat with a valve, a power piston, a probe and a deflector. Split housing is provided with an adapter in which there is a bushing and an extension piece, forming an annular chamber with the annular piston, hydraulically connected by a circulation hole to the well cavity. Extension piece is provided with a seat with an end valve resting on a spring with an adjusting nut located in the axial channel of the hollow rod. Control mechanism is made in the form of a power piston connected with a pusher, forming an annular chamber with a hollow rod with a spring being pressed by a nut. Pusher is connected to a clutch provided with a cup mounted freely adapted for axial movement in the longitudinal grooves of the split housing. In the axial channel of the cup, a hollow bushing with plugs at the ends is installed, which is enclosed by screw caps connected to the cup, between which is installed a swivel bushing with supply holes forming a movable connection with a hollow bushing hydraulically connected to its axial channel. Probe is made in the form of an outlet branch connected to the swivel bushing, at the lower end of which there is a sleeve with a spring-loaded annular piston connected to the hollow plunger, at the lower end of which a nozzle is mounted. Sleeve is mounted to support the deflector mounted in the axial channel of the split housing provided with a slot for the exit of the probe, and the cavity beneath the annular piston of the hollow rod is connected by a radial hole with the axial channel of the extension piece under the seat of the end valve.

EFFECT: ensuring high reliability of operation, stable position of the split housing of the punch relative to the formed perforation channel during pressure pulsations of the working fluid, preventing entry of formation fluid into the device and the axial channel of the drill string.
