FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of liquefaction of gases and can be used in the processing of natural gas at a gas distribution station (GDS). Natural gas, taken from the main gas pipeline, dried and purged from impurities, is divided into three flows, which are simultaneously directed: the first flow as the production flow – for liquefaction, second and third flows as auxiliary flows – to provide power and refrigerants to the production flow units. Auxiliary gas flows are directed to the main and auxiliary expanders, respectively, expanded and passed as coolants through heat exchangers and then, with aligned values of temperature and pressure, combined in one flow to be directed to the consumer. Gas of the production flow is cooled to minus 50÷70 °C, supercooled with a gaseous refrigerant to a temperature of minus 100÷120 °C, directed to the liquefaction heat exchanger, the supercooled flow is throttled from supercritical pressures to 2÷8 bar, and the supercooled liquefied natural gas for use is obtained. Closed cycle of gaseous refrigerant is organized.
EFFECT: complete liquefaction of natural gas flow at the GDS, with the exclusion of energy costs.
