FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the liquefied natural gas (LNG) production technologies. LNG production method includes the natural gas stream separation into process and production streams, the process gas stream expansion and its return by reverse flow with the production gas stream cooling, production gas stream throttling after it’s cooling, the resulting vapor-liquid mixture separation into the vapor and liquid phases with the subsequent direction to the uncondensed natural gas reverse flow. Liquefaction process is organized at the main gas pipeline compressor station. Closing the liquefaction cycle, compressing the reverse flow in the compressor cycle and returning the compressed natural gas to the cycle. Before the flow separation in the liquefaction cycle, the flow is cooled in the preliminary heat exchanger. Replenishing the cycle, taking the natural gas additional stream from the gas pumping unit compressor, expanding and directing to the additional heat exchanger for the process stream cooling, and then passing through the preliminary heat exchanger and directing to the liquefaction cycle.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is in the specific energy consumption reduction per unit of product, increase in the liquefaction cycle thermodynamic efficiency.
