FIELD: measurement; test.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology, in particular to devices for monitoring inter-winding faults in windings of electrical machines and apparatus. Device comprises a pulse former, a unidirectional electronic key, which is controlled from the output of the pulse former and connected t series-connected diode and circuit. Circuit consists of a parallel-connected coil that is being tested, and a capacitor with energy storage in the tested coil. Coil leads are connected through a diode bridge, low-pass filter and comparator to an indicator.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability and accuracy of detection of the inter-winding faults.
