SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method and apparatus for tracking the state of measurement of a Coriolis mass flowmeter. More precisely, changing the magnitude of the exciting force F and comparing the difference between the mass flow rate qm', indicated by the flow sensor, and the assumed mass flow rate qm The method can track the operating state of the flowmeter in cases, where the liquid does not flow through it.
