METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRACKING THE STATE OF MEASUREMENT OF A CORIOLIS MASS FLOWMETER Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01F25/00

Abstract RU 2656294 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method and apparatus for tracking the state of measurement of a Coriolis mass flowmeter. Method for tracking the state of measurement of the Coriolis mass flowmeter is, that an equivalent exciting force F is applied to replace the Coriolis force Fc, created by the vibration of liquid in a tube, the effect of the equivalent exciting force F is the same as that of the Coriolis force Fc, and the phase difference is created on both sides of the vibrating sensor tube in cases where the liquid does not flow through it, and, finally, a flow sensor shows a mass flow rate of the liquid by continuous detection and calculation. More precisely, changing the magnitude of the exciting force F and comparing the difference between the mass flow rate qm', indicated by the flow sensor, and the assumed mass flow rate qm The method can track the operating state of the flowmeter in cases, where the liquid does not flow through it. Mass flow rate qm', indicated on a display device; the average value of the quantity qm' is calculated, if the value of is less than 1%, then continue to estimate, is the value of 1% less for other mass flow rates; if the value of each mass flow rate is less than 1%, state of measurement of the Coriolis mass flowmeter is estimated as normal; otherwise, the state of measurement is estimated as non-working. Device contains an element that applies the equivalent exciting force F, while the effect of the equivalent excitation force is the same, as in the Coriolis force Fc, the application site and the magnitude of the equivalent exciting force F must satisfy the moment formula 2F⋅d = T.

EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a new device for tracking the state of measurement of the flowmeter remote from a pipeline.
