FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: present invention provides for temperature compensation of mass flow values of a Coriolis flow meter. Temperature compensation of output signals of the flow meter is carried out by using exciting frequency F as an indicator of temperature changes of the flow tube and does not require use of temperature sensors. Compensation is carried out in the electronic measuring circuit of the Coriolis flow meter. The calibration factor of the stream as well as the nominal delay time, usually called "zero" in this field, are compensated. The Coriolis flow meter should be zeroed only once for the whole life time, after installation.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measuring mass flow.
