UE uses information with radio capabilities specific to RAT, in determining which information with the radio capabilities of the UE is to be transmitted to the network. UE maintains a list of supported frequency bands and / or supported frequency band combinations (LOSB) indexed by network operators, and uses the list to determine what information with the radio capabilities of the UE is required to be transferred to the network. Network node selectively removes unnecessary information from the radio capability information of the UE before storing the radio capability information of the UE in the mobility management entity (MME).

EFFECT: technical result is to improve the selection, transmission and storage of information on the radio communication capabilities of the user equipment (UE).
