FIELD: wireless communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically to a method and equipment for receiving downlink signals. User equipment (UE) initiates a retransmission timer with intermittent reception (DRX) in a downlink (DL) for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process in the DL of said UE. UE monitors the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) when the DL DRX transmission DL timer for the DL HARQ process is being executed. UE stops the DL DRX transmission DL timer for the DL HARQ process when the UE receives the PDCCH indicating the uplink transmission (UL).
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of latency/delay during data transmission/reception.
