FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multi-structured tubular element for carrying out exothermic / endothermic chemical reactions, a method for manufacturing such an element and a reactor comprising such an element. Element includes two or more monolithic heat conducting bodies arranged longitudinally and assembled together so that each of them has a portion of the side surface in contact with the side surface of one or more monolithic heat conducting bodies adjacent thereto, and the two or more monolithic bodies together form a thermally coupled honeycomb structure comprising a plurality of longitudinal channels extending from one end of the multi-structured tubular element to the other end thereof and substantially parallel to each other and the main axis of said element. Each monolithic heat conducting body has thermal conductivity higher than 10 W/m/K and is thermally coupled to the outer surface of the multi-structured tubular element, and each monolithic heat conducting body comprises a wall that is part of the outer side surface of the multi-structured tubular element.
EFFECT: invention provides for effective implementation of chemical reactions and good heat exchange.
