FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind driven power plants. Aerial high-altitude wind power plant consists of a turbine-generator unit raised above the surface by an aerostat shell of positive buoyancy in the form of a hollow horizontally located biconvex lens, connected by flexible cable ties with fixed on the surface of the winches. In the central part of the balloon shell there is a through symmetrical hole with respect to its vertical axis, where the generator is fixed symmetrically relative to the longitudinal and vertical axis of the balloon shell, which has two shaft outputs with fixed on each of them symmetrically with respect to the electric generator by orthogonal turbines, the upper ends of the flexible cable ties are attached to the edge of the oval bottom of the balloon shell and are coaxial with the lower ends of the flexible cable ties with the winches fixed to the surface symmetrically with respect to its vertical axis, and the number of flexible cable ties with fixed on the surface of the winches is not less than three.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the amount of wind generated electricity in high-altitude velocity layers of the atmosphere.
