FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, specifically to a diagnostic ultrasound system. Lift for a control panel of a cart-borne ultrasound system comprises a cart housing mounted on wheels, a control panel, a display mounted for viewing when operating the control panel, a lift which supports the control panel and display, which articulates to raise, lower and rotate the control panel and display. Lift has a pivot elbow which selectively enables rotation of the control panel and display, an elevation mechanism which selectively enables the control panel and display to be raised and lowered, a hydraulic strut coupled to the elevation mechanism which adjusts with the raising and lowering of the control panel and display, a control button which is actuated by a user to allow the pivot elbow to rotate and the elevation mechanism to be raised and lower and, when not actuated, causes the pivot elbow and elevation mechanism to be locked in position. In this case, at least one switch is arranged to lock the lift in a position where the control panel is in a forward, not rotated, position or when the wheels are locked and the control panel is in a forward, not rotated, position.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it easier to manipulate the display screen.
