FIELD: load-lifting facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hoists designed for use in fire-and explosion-hazard areas. Proposed hoist contains trolley and lifting mechanism. Air-operated motor with possibility of stepless control of speed is used as trolley travel motion drive and load lifting drive. Control system has suspended control unit connected with turnable throttling spool installed on control panel. Control panel is secured on trolley and is provided with pneumatic distributors to control air-operated motors, and pneumatic distributor to cut off supply. Control unit is suspended on rod consisting of tubular members interconnected by Hooke's joints. Said control unit is provided with supply cutoff toggle switch with locking device, mode pneumatic selector and handwheel with self-setting in neutral whose rotation is transmitted to throttling spool through rod. Angle of handwheel turning determines speed of air-operated motors, and direction of turning, direction of rotation.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities owing to stepless control of speed of air-operated motors, simplified design, improved operating properties and safety of hoist control.
